The Big Mumma is born, and I’m thrilled with the result! A true masterpiece, this 35″ scale 6-string ultra deep chambered Symphony is built with precision and care. The body, crafted from two thick, continuous oak boards, is joined in perfect grain harmony, with triple layers of linings at the center adding a refined, intricate touch to the design. The stunning flamed maple top is preserved in all its glory, with controls thoughtfully placed on the backplate, keeping the front pristine.
The body, deeper and slightly larger than the standard Symphony, resonates with a profound warmth and depth that enriches the tone, making each note come alive. The neck features a flamed maple core, with roasted oak linings and Canadian maple sides, reinforced by carbon fiber tubes and a dual-action truss rod for exceptional stability.
The passive Delano TheXtender pickup is paired with Vol+Tone slide pots, offering intuitive control, while the 3-position slide switch allows for seamless switching between totally noiseless single neck, series, and single bridge configurations. A true work of art, this instrument marries exquisite craftsmanship with an extraordinary sonic experience.
