Symphony

This six-string fretted Symphony features 26 frets, dual Delano Xtender pickups positioned in classic Jazz bass locations, and a parametric Richter preamp, delivering a versatile and highly expressive tonal palette.

One of the most challenging yet rewarding aspects of this instrument was a special color request for the top and headstock—a very light baby blue inspired by a bright summer sky scattered with tiny clouds. Applied over locally sourced poplar burl, achieving the desired color required extensive bleaching and a carefully developed staining process to overcome the wood’s naturally warm tones.

The result is an instrument where every detail comes together beautifully, both visually and sonically. I couldn’t be happier with how this Symphony turned out—in both look and sound.
