The Prince of Darkness
Introducing The Prince of Darkness – a tribute bass forged in reverence to Ozzy Osbourne, and the haunting weight of Black Sabbath’s “Black Sabbath.”
Every detail of this instrument reflects that first moment when the rain falls, the bell tolls, and darkness rolls in. At its core lies a body carved from almost 5,000-year-old bog oak – raw, unfinished, and heavy with time. Its natural cracks remain exposed, whispering stories of ancient roots and buried silence. The back, untouched and unsanded, still bears the marks of the chainsaw that freed it – a brutal reminder of the primal forces behind the music.
The upper horn’s fractures are filled with melted bismuth – silvery veins of metal, like the way Ozzy’s voice once filled the broken parts of our souls.
A deep black ebony fingerboard holds jet-black frets – a shadow upon shadow. The neck, crafted from padauk, glows a visceral red, like the eyes of some infernal creature, its twisted horns reimagined as a sculpted headstock. The relic’d hardware carries the scars of time, matching the aesthetic of rawness and ruin.
Anchoring it all is a raw steel backplate, engraved with a dedication to the one and only Prince of Darkness.
This bass is more than just an instrument. It’s an invocation. A relic. A howl in the void.
Built with fire. Played with reverence. Heard in the dark.
