NAMM
Big Mumma
Prepared for the NAMM Show, the Big Mumma 4 is a bass with a voice that is deep, sweet, and effortlessly inspiring. Built around a fully hollowed, ultra-deep iroko body, it resonates freely, breathing warmth and openness into every note. A stained tamo ash top adds visual rhythm and contrast, while the roasted maple and oak neck flows naturally into an ebony fingerboard and matching ebony bridge, forming a coherent, elegant whole.
Whether heard through the magnetic pickup or the piezo system, this bass delivers a sound that instantly brings a smile—full, responsive, and alive under the hands. It’s an instrument that invites exploration rather than demands it.
The good news: this bass, along with the previously presented ebony fretted 5, is available. Sometimes the right instrument is not just built—it’s ready.
